Write JSON to disk (binary)
Needs changesWhat this workflow does
This workflow has 3 nodes and runs from “Create Example Data” (no trigger node, so run it manually or call it from another workflow). It uses only n8n's built-in nodes.
How it runs
Trigger: From “Create Example Data” (no trigger node, so run it manually or call it from another workflow).
- Create Example Data (Function): runs custom JavaScript (legacy Function node)
- Make Binary (Function): runs custom JavaScript (legacy Function node)
- Write Binary File: uses Write Binary File
Before you upgrade to n8n 3.0
2 things in this workflow are removed in n8n 3.0. Fix them before you upgrade:
- Write Binary File: replace with Read/Write Files from Disk.
- Function (legacy) in Make Binary, Create Example Data: replace with Code node, mode 'Run Once for All Items'.
Rather not rewrite it? Many of these flows can be rebuilt in Make (free plan).
