This AI workflow has 20 nodes and runs when someone submits an n8n form (“Apollo + Apify Lead Generation”). Along the way it connects Google Sheets, OpenAI Chat Model and Tavily (community). It also calls api.apify.com and api.instantly.ai over HTTP.
How it runs
Trigger: When someone submits an n8n form (“Apollo + Apify Lead Generation”).
- Apollo URL Generator (Basic LLM Chain): sends a prompt to an LLM, with model: OpenAI Chat Model
- Run Apify (HTTP Request): calls api.apify.com (POST)
- Parse Lead Data (Basic LLM Chain): sends a prompt to an LLM, with model: OpenAI Chat Model; output parser: Structured Output Parser
- If: checks a condition and branches into true / false
- Filter: keeps only the items that match a condition
- Add to Google Sheet (Google Sheets): append or update
- Limit: keeps the first few items
- Loop Over Items (Loop Over Items (Split in Batches)): loops over the items in batches
- Company Research (AI Agent): runs an AI agent, with model: OpenAI Chat Model; 1 tool (Tavily); output parser: Structured Output Parser
- Generate Outreach Message (Basic LLM Chain): sends a prompt to an LLM, with model: OpenAI Chat Model

Before you upgrade to n8n 3.0
1 thing in this workflow is removed in n8n 3.0. Fix it before you upgrade:
- AI Agent v1 (old agent modes) in Company Research (v1.7): replace with Latest AI Agent node (Tools Agent). For SQL Agent, use a Postgres or MySQL tool with a recent AI Agent.
