Ready for 3.0. This template uses no nodes that n8n 3.0 removes. No removed nodes, versions or helpers found. Static check, last run 2026-10-19.

What this workflow does

This workflow has 11 nodes and runs when someone submits an n8n form (“Scrape Google Maps leads”) (plus 1 other trigger). Along the way it connects Google Sheets. It also calls places.googleapis.com over HTTP.

How it runs

Trigger: When someone submits an n8n form (“Scrape Google Maps leads”) (plus 1 other trigger).

  1. Merge: merges the data from its input branches
  2. Get rows in QUERIES (Google Sheets): uses Google Sheets
  3. Google Places Search (HTTP Request): calls places.googleapis.com (POST)
  4. Discard empty queries (Filter): keeps only the items that match a condition
  5. Split Out: splits a list into separate items
  6. Map Places Fields (Edit Fields (Set)): sets 11 fields: source_id, name, address…
  7. Append or update lead row (Google Sheets): append or update
  8. If: checks a condition and branches into true / false
  9. Mark Query as Scraped (Google Sheets): update

Services it uses

Google Sheets

HTTP calls to: places.googleapis.com

Before you upgrade to n8n 3.0
