What this workflow does
This AI workflow has 9 nodes and runs manually, when you click “Execute workflow”. Along the way it connects OpenRouter Chat Model and Nimply (community).
How it runs
Trigger: Manually, when you click “Execute workflow”.
- Prepare Image URLs (Edit Fields (Set)): sets 1 field: imageUrls
- Select Random Image (Code): runs custom JavaScript code
- Generate AI Caption (AI Agent): runs an AI agent, with model: OpenRouter Chat Model
- Upload Image to Nimply (Nimply): work with media
- Get Connected channels (Nimply): work with channel
- If: checks a condition and branches into true / false
- Create a post (Nimply): uses Nimply

Before you upgrade to n8n 3.0
1 thing in this workflow is removed in n8n 3.0. Fix it before you upgrade:
- AI Agent v1 (old agent modes) in Generate AI Caption (v1.9): replace with Latest AI Agent node (Tools Agent). For SQL Agent, use a Postgres or MySQL tool with a recent AI Agent.
