Log weekly Google Patents watch results to Google Sheets with Apify
UnknownWhat this workflow does
This workflow has 7 nodes and runs on a schedule (every week at 08:00). Along the way it connects Google Sheets and Apify (community).
How it runs
Trigger: On a schedule (every week at 08:00).
- Set your patent watch list (Edit Fields (Set)): sets 4 fields: watchTerms, assignee, country…
- One search per watch term (Split Out): splits a list into separate items
- Search Google Patents (Apify): run actor and get dataset (actors)
- Keep terms that returned patents (Filter): keeps only the items that match a condition
- One row per patent (Code): runs custom JavaScript code
- Append patents to sheet (Google Sheets): append
Services it uses
Before you upgrade to n8n 3.0
We can't fully verify this one: it relies on 1 community package, and n8n 3.0 turns unverified community packages off by default (N8N_UNVERIFIED_PACKAGES_ENABLED=false).
- Check that @apify/n8n-nodes-apify is verified or supports 3.0 (used in Search Google Patents).
