This workflow has 9 nodes and runs manually, when you click “Execute workflow”. It uses only n8n's built-in nodes. It also calls sci-draw.com over HTTP.
How it runs
Trigger: Manually, when you click “Execute workflow”.
- Configure illustration request (Edit Fields (Set)): sets 5 fields: prompt, aspectRatio, resolution…
- Create illustration job with SciDraw AI (HTTP Request): calls sci-draw.com (POST)
- Illustration job succeeded? (If): checks a condition and branches into true / false
- Download generated illustration (HTTP Request): calls an HTTP API
- Illustration job failed? (If): checks a condition and branches into true / false
- Stop when generation fails (Stop and Error): stops the run with an error
- Wait: waits 5 seconds
- Get illustration job status (HTTP Request): calls an HTTP API
