What this workflow does

This workflow has 5 nodes and runs on a schedule (every day). It uses only n8n's built-in nodes.

How it runs

Trigger: On a schedule (every day).

  1. List upgradable packages (SSH): uses SSH
  2. Format as HTML list (Code): runs custom JavaScript code
  3. Check if there are updates (If): checks a condition and branches into true / false
  4. Send Email: sends an email over SMTP

Before you upgrade to n8n 3.0

Nothing in this workflow is removed in n8n 3.0, so it should import and run after the upgrade.
