What this workflow does

This workflow has 4 nodes and runs when another workflow calls it. It uses only n8n's built-in nodes.

How it runs

Trigger: When another workflow calls it.

  1. SET OUTPUT FILE NAME (Edit Fields (Set)): sets 2 fields: binary_key, output_file_name
  2. Extract from File: extracts data from a file (binary to propery)
  3. Change Binary Data Type (Code): runs custom JavaScript code

Before you upgrade to n8n 3.0

Nothing in this workflow is removed in n8n 3.0, so it should import and run after the upgrade.
